In December Upper Deck Entertainment is releasing a DC Comics Legends Expansion set featuring all the top DC heroes and villains for the first time in one set.  The DC Comics Legends Expansion, which contains 273 cards, is, in the words of Upper Deck's Vs. Product Manager Scott Gaeta, 'a jumping on point, a base set...giving people a fresh start.' (see 'ICv2 Interview: Scott Gaeta of Upper Deck').  For the first time in a Vs. system release Batman, Superman, and the rest of the Justice League are available along with the Teen Titans to go toe-to-toe with The Joker, Lex Luthor, and Ra's al Ghul.

The DC Comics Legends cards have a new look thanks to a new card face with a larger art box (space) to show off the series' stunning artwork.  Each booster pack of DC Comics Legends cards includes 15 cards including one UDE points cards (players can collect UDE points and redeem them for Vs. game accessories).  Some packs will also contain a randomly inserted foil card from a complete parallel set.  All the cards in DC Comics Legends are compatible with other cards in UDE's Vs. system.
