On Monday, November 5th, the oft-delayed Gordon Lee case goes to trial in Rome, Georgia.  The most recent delay was due to the illness of the judge in August (see 'Gordon Lee Trial Postponed'); the case began three years ago.

Lee will go to trial on two misdemeanor counts of distributing harmful to minors material, all that remain of the two felonies and five misdemeanors with which he was originally charged.  The case arose from accidental distribution of comics depicting non-sexual nudity to minors.

The case is being defended by the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund, which expects total costs to be in excess of $100,000 by the end of the trial. To donate to the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund, click here.
