Valiant Entertainment has announced plans to release a hardcover collection of the X-O Manowar series.  It will include a new story by Bob Layton, and a new cover by Sean Chen. 

This will be the second such hardcover collection from the new Valiant.  The first collected Harbinger and included a new story by Jim Shooter (see 'Shooter Returns to Comics'). 

Diamond Comic Distributors did not carry the Harbinger hardcover due to a trademark dispute (see 'Diamond Not Carrying the Harbinger Hardcover'); Valiant sold the title directly to retailers.
