Yamato USA has announced the spring 2008 release of its Welcome to Pia Carrot: Rumi Kinoshita Figure (MSRP $68).  The comely 9-inch PVC figure is based on one of the most popular characters in Cocktail Soft's popular dating sim, Welcome to Pia Carrot, an eroge (erotic computer game) that is set in and around a series of restaurants belonging to the Pia Carrot chain.  The female characters in the game are almost always waitresses at the restaurants and as can be seen in the photo the Rumi Kinoshita figure, the waitress' uniforms are sexy variations on the popular 'maid cafe' phenomenon.

The Rumi Kinoshita figure comes complete with 'cast-off' upper uniform and shirt, floor mop, devil wings, and a display box.  As might be inferred from the description of Rumi's clothing, the upper portion of her costume and her skirt can be removed to create a Victoria's Secret lingerie look.  Rumi is the naughty younger sister of Yusuke Kinoshita, the protagonist of the original Welcome to Pia Carrot game.

Cocktail Soft has released over a dozen versions of the Welcome to Pia Carrot game, which debuted in 1995, and the popular property has inspired a number of anime OVA releases.
