Tokyopop has announced the February, 2008 release of the Gothic & Lolita Bible, a quarterly mook (magazine/book hybrid) that is a combination fashion magazine, culture guide and art book.  With its high fashion elements, this publication, which has played a major role in defining the look of Gothic Lolita fashion, should have a strong appeal to the female audience that has made manga such as Doll, Vampire Knight and Angel Sanctuary such big hits in the North American bookstore market.

The first issue of the Gothic and Lolita Bible that Tokyopop is releasing in North America includes interviews with top Lolita fashionistas including Doll creator Mitsukazu Mihara and J-pop idol Nana Kitade.  The G&LB also includes full color spreads featuring the latest fashions directly from the streets of Harajuku plus photo shoots with Gothic Lolita celebrities as well as hair and makeup tips and reviews of the latest publications of particular interest to fans of this distinctive fashion style.

The oversize (8.25' x 11.75'), 128-page Gothic and Lolita Bible carries a cover price of $19.95.
