Visionary Comics Studio has announced that Pat Broderick has joined VCS and is bringing his creator-owned projects, including the post-apocalyptic T-Rex, with him.  Broderick, whose long experience in the industry includes such titles as Micronauts, Iron Fist, Swamp Thing, Green Lantern, and Detective Comics, has recently been working in advertising, animation and videogames, but he wants to return to comics and is doing so with a number of original projects including T-Rex, a Mad Max-type of post-apocalyptic adventure that has nothing to do with dinosaurs.  In fact T-Rex, which features a protagonist who is cybernetically linked to his dog, is a more like a cyberpunk near future science fiction thriller.  T-Rex is a 'mature readers' saga that has plenty of fast-paced action and more than a little brutality.

Visionary Comics Studio, which is looking for a publisher for the T-Rex series, plans to issue a limited edition ashcan that Broderick will be selling at upcoming comic conventions.  In addition to drawing the series, Broderick is also writing, inking and coloring T-Rex.
