FUNimation Entertainment has awarded Toy Vault a license for high quality plush figures based on Shin Chan, an anime series based on the manga by Yoshito Usui.  The Shin Chan anime series has been airing on the Cartoon Network's Adult Swim, and FUNimation is planning to release its first multi-episode Shin Chan DVD Box Set in May.  The Shin Chan anime follows the adventures of the five-year-old Shin Chan, a sort of 'Dennis the Menace on steroids' -- and in spite of the age of its protagonist, Shin Chan is not a series for kids as its presence on Adult Swim attests, but it has developed a devoted following.

Toy Vault plans to release its Shin Chan toys this summer and the line will include plush figures, talking plush figures, plush pillows and puppets.
