Here's a look at the deluxe metal case that ADV Films will be making available to hold the Premium Edition of Neon Genesis Evangelion.  ADV Films has the North American rights to the Evangelion TV Series, while Manga Entertainment will issue the Evangelion features.  Created by Studio Gainax, Neon Genesis Evangelion was the science fiction anime series of the 1990s, a post apocalyptic amalgam of giant robo action and teenage angst that took the Gundam teenage mecha-pilot save civilization plotline to a whole new level of sophistication.

 

The ultra-slick Evangelion metal box is decorated with images of all the principal characters from the series as well as the NERV logo.  Gainax has just approved the design, so pricing, release date, and other details about this premium edition should be released shortly.
