The Topps Company has announced that its Heroes Season 2 Trading Cards will be exclusive to the hobby market.  The cards, which are shipping in June, will not be available in Wal-Mart, Target, or Toys R’ Us.  Topps is planning plenty of extras for the Heroes 2 series including some very rare (and as yet unannounced) Dual Autograph Cards, Dual Memorabilia Cards and Autograph/Memorabilia cards.

Each box of Heroes 2 cards is guaranteed to have a sketch card, a memorabilia card, or an autograph card.  First time signers for the autograph cards include Ali Larter, Christine Rose, James Kyson Lee, Nicholas D’Agosto, David Anders, Dana Davis, Adair Tishler, Jimmy Jean-Louis, and Ashley Crow.  Memorabilia cards include swatches from costumes worn by key Heroes characters including Monica Dawson, Claire Bennet, West Rosen, Ellie Bishop (Kristen Bell), and Peter Petrelli.

The Heroes TV series returns to the air for a third season on September 15th with a 3-hour extravaganza (see “Heroes Returns in Style”).
