Go Comi! has announced the acquisition of the rights to Yuki Amemiya’s shonen manga series 07-Ghost.  The ongoing 07-Ghost series has reached six volumes in Japan, where the supernatural fantasy saga about a former slave who is pursued by the Barsburg Empire because of his skill with a form of magic called “Zaiphon” is published by Ichijinsha in Zero Sum Magazine. 

There appears to be quite a bit of interest in the title on the manga message boards where it gets high marks for its art and story.  Go Comi! plans to publish its first volume of 07-Ghost in January of 2009.
