Uglydolls are busy this year, with new characters and licensing categories expanding the appeal of the character goods.  New characters include Poe, Babo’s Bird, Puglee, Plunko, and Ugly Ghost.  Two retired Uglydolls, Suntan Target and Cinko, are returning. 

A broad range of new licensed products are available or shipping soon.  Random House released the first books in its publishing program, two Guides to the Uglyverse, in April  Future titles will include pop-ups and illustrated stories. 

Chronicle has already released a line of stationery items, with more journals and a new calendar due this year. 

T-shirts from Mighty Fine were just released; kids sizes are due in October.
