Dark Horse Comics has announced that next year it will bring back a trio of licensed titles in new miniseries that the publisher hopes will morph into on-going series.  2009 will mark the 30th anniversary of the original Alien movie and it will also be around two decades since the debut of the Aliens (1988), Predator (1989) and Alien vs. Predator (1990) comics.  During the past 18 months Dark Horse Comics has released most of its classic material from these three properties in Omnibus editions.

Dark Horse is planning to feature these properties in its Free Comic Book Day offering and then publish new miniseries for all three properties during the summer and fall of next year.  Look for graphic novel collections of the new material sometime early in 2010.
