David Luebke of Dave's Comics in Richmond, Virginia saw the news about Ron Perelman’s settlement (see “Perelman to Pay $80 Million”) and would like to see an apology and more:

It would be more appropriate if Perelman were forced to make a personal apology to us former stockholders and give us at least a percentage of our money back.  I, for one, lost tens of thousands of dollars by owning stock in a company I trusted and loved at the time.  He lived lavishly and spent my life savings on jewelry for his former wife (Ellen Barkin) to the tune of $20 million dollars.  I am hoping for true Karma to come around and take hold and bite him in the derriere.
