Elmore Productions, the business of renowned fantasy artist Larry Elmore, has announced that it plans to launch a publishing division to publish d20 products, a calendar poster, mousepads, and other products.  This takes the business in a new direction from Elmore's print and litho business, which is primarily direct to consumer; the new products will be designed for sale through stores.

Planned third quarter products include postcards, mousepads, and a 2003 Calendar Poster, all with images by Elmore, and Elmore Portrait Studio, with over 200 character portraits on paper and CD-ROM.

In the fourth quarter, Elmore will kick off its d20 publishing program, which will feature art-heavy products (described as 'an art book with gaming materials included within') with MSRPs under $20.  Products tentatively slated for Q4 (all d20) include:

Snarfquest Guide based on the Elmore comic series.

Women of the Woods, 15+ NPCs for any fantasy setting, with illos by Elmore.

Near Future Firearms, with art by a Hollywood SF weapons designer

Shatterlands, a post-holocaust setting from Tim Bradstreet and Ken Whitman
