Two classic offerings from Mayfair Games, out of print for some time, will receive new treatments in the second half of 2008: Tigris & Euphrates and Hey! That’s My Fish! Deluxe!.  Reiner Knizia’s Tigris & Euphrates is set in the ancient Mesopotamian valley at the dawn of civilization. Two to four players guide the development of their people, competing with each other for religious and social dominance. The October re-issue of the game comes with a two-sided game board, four ornate player screens, over 150 civilization tiles, and scores of painted wood tokens. MSRP is $55.

Hey! That’s My Fish! Deluxe! is a light strategy game suitable for two to four players. Each player tries to steer his flock of penguins around a field of ice floes to find and hold the best fishing grounds. This new, deluxe version of the game includes 16 painted resin penguins and 60 hexagonal ice floe tiles. It comes out in November.

Tigris and Fish join Mayfair’s packed release schedule for the latter half of 2008, joining the reprint of Family Business and new (to North America) releases The Dutch Golden Age and Monuments (see “’Family Business’ Reprint Coming in Q3”).
