Hayao Miyazaki’s Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea has hit another milestone, passing 10 million admissions in Japan, according to Variety.  As with the 10 billion milestone (see “Ponyo Box Office Tops Ten Billion”), Ponyo reached the 10 million admissions level faster than Howl’s Moving Castle, but more slowly than Spirited Away.

Ponyo is on 481 screens in Japan, a record.
