A.G. Holliman of The Comic Strip in Tuscaloosa, Alabama saw retailer Noah Broessel’s comments about comic shipments (see “Noah Broessel of Pop Culture Paradise on Weekly Delivery Schedule”) and says he’s “been asking for this fix for many years!”

I have been asking for this fix for many years!  We don't sell corn flakes.  A box of corn flakes is always the same.  Putting the logistics of shelving product aside, we sell an art form and need time to review our merchandise.  Fellow retailers, how many times on Wednesday do customers ask how good something is and you have to tell them "I haven't read it yet"?  We need the extra day in order to intelligently sell the books.

Dan Barnett (see “Dan Barnett of Walt's Cards on One Day Earlier”) missed the simplest solution for anyone breaking the "street date."  Diamond could ship that store's boxes to arrive on Wednesday.  The shop would have product for sale on the proper day but would lose out on the extra time.
