Upper Deck Entertainment is producing a series of trading cards based on the family film Hotel for Dogs, which is set to debut on January 16th.  Hotel for Dogs, which is being produced by Dreamworks Pictures and Nickelodeon Movies, is based on the 1971 children’s book written by Lois Duncan (I Know What You Did Last Summer).

Upper Deck’s Hotel for Dogs cards will retail for $1.99 and $2.99 depending on pack configuration and will hit mass retailers and hobby stores early in 2009.  The cards will feature the film’s stars both human (Emma Roberts, Don Cheadle, and Kevin Dillon) and canine.  The series will contain randomly inserted autograph and costume cards.
