An animated pilot of Troy Little’s graphic novel Angora Napkin is in production and will air on Teletoon, Canada in March of 2009.  As for the graphic novel, IDW Publishing is planning to publish a 152-page hardcover edition of Angora Napkin ($19.99) in January of 2009.  Angora Napkin is an adult comedy about a girl band pop trio.  With its quirky, subversive humor and its healthy doses of sex and violence, Angora Napkin has definite “cult hit” potential.

Little, who has also created the noir graphic novel Chiaroscuro for IDW, is involved in all aspects of the production of the Angora Napkin animated pilot, which like the graphic novel, follows the adventures of Beatrice, Molly and Mallory, who make up the pop group Angora Napkin.  On their way to play at a Halloween party the girls meet up with a misunderstood zombie boy named Dennis, who they unwittingly convince to wipeout life on Earth.
