4Kids Entertainment has named the Toronto-based Spin Master Inc. as the master toy licensee for Chaotic, the integrated entertainment property that includes a trading card game with extensive online capabilities and an original animated TV series.  The agreement grants Spin Master, one of the fastest growing toy companies in the world thanks the extraordinary success of its Bakugan toys (see “Bakugan Makes Hot Toys List”), an exclusive worldwide license to design, develop and manufacture Chaotic toys including action figures and collectibles. 

Spin Master also has the exclusive right to market and distribute toys (excluding plush) in North America, the United Kingdom, France, and Mexico.  4Kids plans to grant toy distribution rights to distributors for all other territories.  The first wave of Spin Master Chaotic toys is expected to hit retail in late 2009 or early 2010.

Over 50 million Chaotic cards have been uploaded to the Chaotic Website.  The Chaotic TV series, which has now reached 64 episodes, airs on the Kids WB and in the Jetix block of Toon Disney as well as on Teletoon in Canada.  The series is also broadcast in Mexico, the U.K., France and Germany.
