Top Cow’s Aphrodite IX, by David Wohl and Dave Finch, is slated to be a 3-D feature film, produced by Threshold Entertainment and Platinum Studios, according to Hollywood Reporter.  Threshold’s Larry Kasanoff described the appeal of the property for the company to the Reporter.  “[A] visually stunning world, amazing effects, a great story and a hot, kick-ass babe in the lead,” he said.  “What could be better?”

Aphrodite IX has been in development for some time, most recently (late 2007) as a direct to DVD animated feature (see “Interview with Matt Hawkins, Part III”).
