L.E.Becker of WARP 9 in Clawson, Michigan writes in and questions why he's seeing DC Direct's Watchmen action figures being sold at Toys 'R Us stores:

The most highly publicized movie of the year, Watchmen, has been immortalized as action figures from DC Direct and are on sale at your local Toys 'R Us!  Huh?

Yeah, you read that right. TRU is now carrying Watchmen toys from DC Direct... because TRU has been carrying DC Direct items since... well, now I suppose -- because TRU is now a Direct Market dealer.  Hooray!  So, DC/Diamond, does that mean that we will be able to return unsold Watchmen toys just like TRU?  Because, you know, DC Direct doesn't play favorites... right?

"Who watches the Watchmen?"... indeed.
