Director Michael Bay posted a correction on his blog to recent news from Variety (see “Transformers 3 Debut Set”) on the release date of Transformers 3.  The correct release date is July 4, 2012, not 2011 as announced by Paramount.  Bay said in his post that he needs “a break from fighting robots” before beginning on the third installment.
