The U.S. Postal Service revealed the designs for its Simpsons stamps on Thursday; they’re scheduled for release May 7th.  Series creator Matt Groening expressed his satisfaction.  “This is the biggest and most adhesive honor The Simpsons has ever received,” he said. 

Producer James Brooks noted the importance of the choice.  “We are emotionally moved by the Postal Service selecting us rather than making the lazy choice of someone who has benefited society,” he said.

Fans can vote for their favorite stamp on the USPS Website, with voting to wrap May 14th.
