Now that the final episode of the Battlestar Galactica TV series has aired, the DVDs won’t be far behind, giving another pop to a property that’s been a hit throughout its 4.5 season life.  Season 4.5 and Complete Series sets are due on both Blu-ray and DVD on July 28th. 

Battlestar Galactica  The Complete Series will carry MSRPs of $349.98 for Blu-ray and $279.98 for DVD.  Extras have not yet been announced. 

Both versions of Battlestar Galactica:  Season 4.5 ($69.98 for Blu-ray, $49.98 for DVD) will include over 13 hours of extras, including three extended episodes of the series finale that never aired on TV, deleted scenes, behind-the-scenes featurettes, and commentary and interview with executive producers Ronald D. Moore and David Eick.  The Blu-ray version will also include U-Control and BD-Live features.
