Starting this summer, Rackham Entertainment will release a series of boxed sets containing pre-made armies for its AT-43 and Confrontation miniatures games. These “Army Boxes” are part of a new strategy from Rackham to make their games more accessible to new players and are one step in the larger relaunch of the Rackham lines following the company’s change in ownership in October (see “Rackham Assets Acquired” and “Rackham Refines Its Relaunch”).

Each Army Box contains a ready-to-play, 2,000-point battle-ready army for either AT-43 or Confrontation at an MSRP of $70/€70.

The first two Army Boxes for AT-43 – The Cogs, The Masters of Genetics and Red Blok, The Revolutionary Forces – ship in July and contain infantry (including heroes), vehicles, terrain pieces, terrain pieces, introductory rules, dice, a ruler, a poster, and game cards.

Confrontation will see two Army Box releases in September, with the army of the Lion and army of the Wolf each receiving a boxed set.
