IDW has announced the July return of its long-running series Fallen Angel.  The four-part Fallen Angel: Reborn mini-series continues the adventures of Liandra under the guidance of writer/co-creator Peter David and artist J.K. Woodard, the creative team responsible for the majority of the series’ 33-issue run. 

The Fallen Angel: Reborn mini-series is set during the fifth season of the Angel TV series, shortly after the ancient demon Illyria, who guest stars in Fallen Angel: Reborn, has had her powers severely reduced by Angel.  This is the first time that a character from Buffy or Angel has appeared outside the Whedon-verse, something that should broaden the appeal of this new Fallen Angel series.
