Sentai Filmworks has acquired three anime properties, which were formerly released in the U.S. by Geneon.  The new acquisitions, which will be released in North American by ADV Films, include the underwater action series Daphne in the Brilliant Blue, the yuri (girl-on-girl) mecha series Destiny of the Shrine Maiden, and the superhero comedy Dokkoida?!.

All three anime will be released in multi-disk sets in August starting with Daphne in the Brilliant Blue Collection One (MSRP $39.98), a 13-episode collection of the first half of the TV-PG-rated anime, which will be released on August 18th.  The TV MA-rated Destiny of the Shrine Maiden Complete Collection (MSRP $39.98), which includes all 12 episodes on two discs, is due out on August 25th, along with the Dokkoida?! Complete Collection, which contains the entire 12-episode, TV PG-rated anime superhero parody, which was originally released here as Dokkoida: Ultra Diaper Man.
