Paizo Publishing will add to its extensive planned product line for its D&D v3.5-compatible Pathfinder RPG (see “’Pathfinder RPG’ Core Rulebook in August”) with the release of the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Bestiary in September. Over 50,000 people have already downloaded the Pathfinder RPG PDF beta rules from Paizo’s Website.

Bestiary is a 320-page, full-color hardcover book with descriptions of over 250 popular monsters and creatures, ranging from low-level nuisances to high-level threats. Each monster receives a full page (or, in some cases, a two-page spread) of attention, along with illustrations and game stats.

The Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Bestiary will be released in September and have an MSRP of $39.99. The Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Core Rulebook will go on sale at Gen Con Indy, and simultaneously at retail stores, for $49.99, .
