It’s only fitting that DC Comics’ newspaper comic strip-inspired Wednesday Comics will get a boost from USA Today, which will syndicate John Arcudi and Lee Bermejo’s Superman over the course of the 12-week series starting on July 8th, the day that the first issue of Wednesday Comics debuts in comic shops.  The first strip will appear in the pages of USA Today on Wednesday, June 8th with subsequent installments debuting each Wednesday on the USATODAY.com Website with each online preview receiving promotion in print editions of USA Today.

Each issue of the innovative oversize Wednesday Comics will include 15 stories by top comics creators with full color art published in the full broadsheet-size format of the 1930s, the Golden Age of newspaper comics (see “Mark Chiarello on Wednesday Comics”).
