Reed Exhibitions, the organizers of the Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo (C2E2) and the New York Comic Con, announced the launch of a new interactive online series that will be called “Virtual Spotlight,” and will debut on June 29th at 1pm with a spotlight on Alex Ross, renown for his superb painted artwork and his vast knowledge of comic book history, who will be appearing at C2E2 as a Guest of Honor on April 16-18, 2010. 

The “Virtual Spotlight” series was conceived as a way to extend the programming of both C2E2 and the NYCC on a year-round basis.  The online get-togethers where fans can interact with their favorite artists and writers will be limited to 999 participants.  Fans will have to pre-register (on a first come, first served basis) at https://www1.gotomeeting.com/register/214850137 .
