The 192-page black-and-white softcover introduces player creation options such as flaws and drawbacks, pre-adventuring occupations, and eight new character classes (artificer, knight, priest, shaman, spellblade, swashbuckler, warlock, and warlord). Other useful rules include chases, stunts, a random adventure generator, and a magic item generator. MSRP is $34.99.
Cthulhu Britannica: Folklore for Chaosium’s Call of Cthulhu Roleplaying Game details the myths and realities of Britain’s darkest occult secrets and truths. The 72-page black-and-white softcover covers such esoteric topics as The Wild Hunt, Body Snatchers, and Screaming Skulls, and retails for $19.99.
The Doctor Who Gamemaster’s Screen is a thick foldout screen that includes plenty of useful charts and information for any Doctor Who: Adventures in Time and Space game master (see “Doctor Who: Adventures in Time & Space RPG”). The four-page screen is in full color and has an MSRP of $14.99.
Other titles on Cubicle 7’s release schedule for November are two source books for the Hellfrost setting of the Savage Worlds RPG: the Hellfrost Bestiary, which details over 300 adversaries, from ice demons to frost wights; and the Hellfrost Gazetteer, a collection of maps and vital information on all major locations on the continent of Rassilon. Also, The Planet Killers, a sourcebook in the Starblazers Adventures line, gives players a wide variety of options and missions to undertake in the wide scope of the Terran Empire.
