Dynamite Entertainment will launch Blackbeard: The Legend of the Pyrate King, a new comic series co-written by two creators of The Blair Witch Project, in October.  Eduardo Sanchez, who co-wrote and co-directed the film, and Gregg Hale, who produced it, will write along with Jamie Nash and Robert Napton, with art by Mario Guevara and a cover by John Cassaday. 

The writing team is promising a new look at the character, beyond his 14 wives, near-superhuman strength, and combat-filled life.
