Visceral Games, a studio of video games giant Electronic Arts, and Image Comics have announced the release of a one-shot comic book based on Dead Space Extraction, one of the most highly anticipated games for the Nintendo Wii system. Written by Anthony Johnston and drawn by Ben Templesmith, the Dead Space Extraction comic is due out from Image in September, though a special SDCC version will be available at Comic-Con this week.
The Dead Space Extraction comic, the third major video game tie-in comic book announced in conjunction with the San Diego Comic-Con so far (a trend appears to be brewing), functions as a prequel to the latest iteration of the award-winning Dead Space action/horror game. The Dead Space Extraction game itself, which is rated “M” for “Mature” by ESRB and 18+ by PEGI, is due to ship to retail on September 29th in North America and October 2nd in
