Z-Man Games’ award-winning Agricola board game will see an expansion later this year, titled Farmers on the Moor. Z-Man also has a host of other new games scheduled for release before the end of 2009.

Farmers on the Moor adds the challenges of feeding your family and heating your home to the harvesting-and-building strategy board game. The expansion contains 150 cards, new tiles representing different terrain (such as forests and moors), and wooden victory-point pieces shaped like horses. Other new Z-Man releases for the remainder of 2009 include Pocket Battles, Megacorps, Endeavor, and Batt’l Kha’os. Endeavor (MSRP $49.99) is a game for three to five players set in the age of sailing exploration, colonization, and commerce in the New World, while Batt’l Kha’os is a two-player, tile-laying, “orcs vs. humans” game coming out later this month or early September and retailing for $25.
