Tokyopop will launch .Hack//Alcor, a new .Hack series that continues the storyline from .Hack//Gnu, in December.  It will be by Rena Izumibara and Takashi Tanegashima, the artist of .Hack//Gnu.  The .Hack franchise, which includes manga, anime and videogames, has produced solid sales in the U.S.

Other Q4 Tokyopop manga launches include:

Karukari Odette, by Juletta Suzuki, in October.

Cause of My Teacher, by Temari Matsumoto, the creator of Kyo Kara Maoh! and Shinobu Kokoro, is a yaoi title that includes short stories featuring romance.  There’s an extra story from the world of Shinobu Kokoro.  It will release in October.

Liberty Liberty, by Hinako Takanaga, who created A Capable Man, Little Butterfly, Challengers, and The Devil’s Secret, will street in November. 

Mikansei No. 1, by the creator of Code Geeass: Lelouch of the Rebellion and St. Lunatic High School, will be out in November as well.

This Ugly Yet Beautiful Story, based on the hit anime, is by Gainax and Ashita Morimi and will ship in December. 

And Madness, by Kairi Shimotskui, is also due out in December.
