Guy Ritchie has been signed to direct a feature based on the DC character Lobo for Warner Bros., according to Variety.  Lobo will be Ritchie’s next film after Sherlock Holmes (see “Downey Doing Sherlock”).  Don Payne wrote the script, which will feature the blue, motorcycle-riding version of the character, who’s an alien bounty hunter/mercenary. 

Production is slated to begin in early 2010, according to the report.
