In late December Fantasy Flight is set to publish its first novel, Jarvis, The Sorcerer’s Apprentice ($19.95), a fantasy-themed, 608-page hardcover YA novel written by Jesper Ejsing. The eponymous hero Jarvis is the son of a lowly goatherd who is selected to apprentice with Harnigel, a powerful and enigmatic sorcerer.
Ejsing is a writer and illustrator, who created the covers for FFG’s Descent: Journeys in the Dark and Runebound board games. He has written nine books in Danish. Jarvis, The Sorcerer’s Apprentice is the first of his novels to be translated into English.
