Beckett Publications, the leading publisher of monthly price guide magazines for sports cards and CCGs, announced that the Beckett Yu-Gi-Oh Collector magazine, which is currently a 'flip-book' with the Beckett Pokemon Collector, will henceforth proceed on its own as the Yu-Gi-Oh Collector.  No longer will Yu-Gi-Oh have to share this periodical venue with a card game that it vanquished long ago in Japan (see '4Kids Nabs Yu-Gi-Oh').  The changing of the guard at Beckett publication mirrors the increasingly obvious triumph of the Yu-Gi-Oh CCG over its Pokey predecessor.
