Mayfair Games’ Hey! That’s My Fish! Deluxe! has been named one of TDmonthly’s Top Toy Fall 2009 Award winners.  The jovial family game designed by Alvydas Jakeliunas and Gunter Cornett, was one of 40 fall winners announced by TDmonthly, an online trade magazine for the toy industry that specializes in toys for infants and younger children. 

The TDmonthly awards are based on a number of criteria including play value, safety, price-point versus quality, social value, and reviews by retailers, consumers and the TDmonthly staff.  Hey! That’s My Fish! Deluxe! was one of three games that made the 2009 fall list (the other two were Backseat Drawing Junior and Letter Roll from Out of the Box Games).

In Hey! That’s My Fish! Deluxe! players’ penguins jump from ice floe to ice floe hunting fish.  The object of the game, which teaches forward planning, strategy as well as counting and addition skills, is to block other players’ penguins and secure the best fishing grounds for your penguin family.
