Sergio Aragones has created the art for the first-ever Free Comic Book Day Commemorative Artist T-shirt, which will ship in April in the lead-up to the event.  Revenues from the shirts will support Free Comic Book Day marketing efforts, with $1 from each sale going to Aragones’ elected charity, the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund.    

Aragones explained his inspiration for the piece.  “The art is not based on any one comic book shop, it is my imagination—it is how I think shops look, full of young readers, moms, super heroes reading and buying comics,” he said. 

The shirt will be available in three colors, white, black, and purple, in sizes from small through XXL.
