Bluewater Productions has announced Fame, a new ongoing comic series that will focus on “culturally relevant celebrities and other pop culture icons.”  A preview issue featuring Lady GaGa will be released in time for Free Comic Book Day.  Other celebrities up for the Fame bio treatment include Robert Pattinson, 50 Cent, David Beckham, and Taylor Swift. 

Fame builds on Bluewater’s comic biographies of political figures, authors, and other celebrities.  The company publishes ongoing bio series Political Power and Female Force, and produced a Michael Jackson:  King of Pop one-shot in 2009.
