Dark Horse is planning new collectible releases in its Barks, Peanuts, and Umbrella Academy lines.  The second series of Dark Horse syroco-style figures based on Barks images will kick off in July with a figure of Uncle Scrooge based on the Barks cover for the famous story “Back to the Klondike.”   The second, planned for August, will feature Donald in a scene from “Lost in the Andes” (the square egg story).  The other three figures in the series will feature two other Scrooge images and a figure of Huey, Dewey, and Louie stacked in a totem pole pose, all at $49.95.

For Peanuts, Dark Horse is planning syroco-style figures of the Peanuts characters as they appeared in the 50s.  These early representations of the characters have not previously been seen in 3D versions, but were approved for these collectible figures in connection with the strip’s 60th anniversary.  This series will begin in July with Charlie Brown and continue monthly through December, all at $49.95.

Anther set of SKUs making use of the 50s look is a series of two-packs, Peanuts Then and Now, at $24.99 each.  Each will show a Peanuts character in its current and 50s versions, both drawn from specific panels.  This series will also launch in July.

An Umbrella Academy collectible, a pocket watch paired with a poly-resin statue in deluxe packaging, is also planned for July in an edition of 500.  The pocket watch is designed by series artist Gabriel Ba for this deluxe-packaged product, with an MSRP of $129.99.
