IDW Publishing has announced that it has created four store front iPad applications that will allow iPad owners to sample and purchase IDW comics.  Customers can choose apps for their favorite brands including Transformers, Star Trek, and G.I. Joe, or download the IDW Comics app for access to all of the company’s iPad releases.  IDW currently has over 400 individual comics available through the app store with more issues available every week.

 

IDW’s iPad are compatible with the company’s iPhone and iPod Touch apps.  Customers will be able to purchase a comic shop app on one device and read it on another.  The apps will determine which device is being used and adjust for the best reading experience.
