In June Margaret Weis Productions is releasing Leverage: The Role-Playing Game (MSRP $44.99), a 192-page, full color hardcover.  Based on the hit TNT cable series about modern-day Robin Hood Nathan Ford and his band of ex-criminals and con artists who use their talents to protect the victims of corporations, mobsters, and corrupt politicians, the Leverage RPG allows players to assume the roles of Nate, Elliot, Parker, Hardison and Sophie and use their combined skills to outwit the bad guys.

The Leverage RPG employs the award-winning Cortex system as its foundation, and the core rulebook provides everything needed to create a team of rogues, plan a job, and get it done, though the inevitable complications mean that players had better have a Plan B ready.

Leverage: Grifters and Masterminds (MSRP $34.99), which is due in September, is a sourcebook for the Leverage RPG.  The 112-page full color trade paperback includes expanded rules for staging heists, planning capers, and working cons.  It is a major resource for both players and Game Masters thanks to the inclusion of more classic con frameworks, new twists, lots of cover identities, and plenty of scenario ideas.

Already available is The Quickstart Job (MSRP $4.99), a 16-page full color single scenario adventure that serves as an excellent introduction to the Leverage RPG by providing players with a taste of all the details, twists and turns of a real Leverage caper.  Players assume the roles of Nate, Elliot, Parker, Hardison, and Sophie, and then work together to topple the corrupt empire of evil banker Dennis Holland.

The new 15-episode season of Leverage (its third) debuts on TNT in June.
