As part of a five-book deal with between bestselling author Karen Marie Moning and Random House’s Delacorte Press, Del Rey has acquired worldwide rights to an original graphic novel written by Moning that will bridge her Fever series to a new trilogy of novels she is writing for Delacorte.  Delacorte plans on publishing Shadowfever, the fifth and final volume in the Fever series in December.

With the as-yet-untitled graphic novel, which will be edited by Betsy Mitchell, Moning joins a growing list of bestselling genre writers including Dean Koontz, Diana Gabaldon, Jim Butcher, and Kim Harrison, who are creating or have created graphic novels for Del Rey.
