Cryptozoic Entertainment, the new publisher of the World of Warcraft TCG, has announced a volunteer program to support local World of Warcraft Trading Card Game communities through local hobby stores.  These volunteers, known as “Champions of the Black Flame,” will assist stores in attracting players with Organized Play tournaments and events.  Organizing volunteers to help run regular events and demo days is something that Cryptozoic sees as an important component in fulfilling its mission statement of “Players first.”

Cryptozoic will supply its volunteers with gifts such as WoW TCG promos cards, playmats, apparel, and other items exclusive to the program. They will also receive priority sponsorships to gaming conventions, as well as access to advance information.
