After two days of federal mediation, the dispute surrounding the art of famed fantasy artist Frank Frazetta has been settled, according to the Pocono Record. The mediation brought together artist Frank Frazetta, Sr. and his four adult children.
Charges against Frank Frazetta, Jr., who was charged with theft in the removal of his father’s paintings from the museum housing them with the use of a backhoe (see “$20 Million Frazetta Heist”), will be dropped. And Frank Frazetta Sr.’s trademark infringement lawsuit against Frank Jr. (for operating a Website without permission) will also be dropped, according to the report.
The terms of the settlement will not be made public. A statement released by the family said, “All of Frank’s children will now be working together as a team to promote his remarkable collection of images that has inspired people for decades.”
