Enterplay is preparing a May 10th release for its Hot Wheels Trading Card Fun Paks and Collector’s Boxes.  Each Fun Pak, which has an MSRP of $1.99, contains 4 Car Trading Cards, 1 trivia/mini-game card, a Foil Card or a Fun Tat Decal Card, and a checklist card with a Sweepstakes Code that provides a chance to win a sealed set of 400 Mattel Hot Wheels cars. The Fun Paks include Treasure Hunt Foil Cards as well as Larry’s Garage Foil Cards.  All hobby display boxes come with a Box Topper.

 

The cards also come in a Hot Wheels Trading Card Collector’s Box (MSRP $5.99), which is similar in some ways to a starter deck.  It includes 20 Car Trading Cards, 20 two-sided “FunTracks Cards,” a Foil Card, a trivia card, and a checklist/sweepstakes card.  The Collector’s Box allows kids to take full and immediate advantage of the games that can be played with these cards.

 

In addition to a trivia game based on the trivia cards, there are two other Hot Wheels games that can be played with Enterplay’s Hot Wheels Trading Cards.  In the “Fun Tracks Card Game” players create a track using the FunTracks cards from the Collector’s Box.  Each card equals a game space and players using a Hot Wheels car as their game piece, roll a die as they attempt to cross the finish line first.  There is also a Hot Wheels Trading Card Game, a very basic CCG that is based on the three attribute levels (speed, design, utility) printed on the “car” cards.
