Perry Rhodan: The Cosmic League is a two-player game set in the classic German Science Fiction setting. The players race to be the first to collect 70 “Megagalax,” the currency of the galaxy. Duel of Giants is the creation of Friedemann de Pedro, who also designed the earlier Z-Man title Duel in the Dark. In his new game, the focus is on the great armor battles of the Eastern Front during World War II. Designed for two-player and multi-player games, it will include eleven plastic models, a double-sided gameboard, landscape tiles, playing counters, cards, and wooden markers. Stock number ZMG 7051. The manga-styled Magical Athlete pits teams of fantasy characters against each other in a team-based foot race. Players draft a team of runners, then compete in a series of races. Pocket Battles: Orcs vs. Elves will be the second title in the series, and is fully compatible with the earlier Romans vs. Celts that was released last year. Designed to play fast, the game uses tiles to represent combat units, and uses dice to resolve battles. Suggested retail price will be $15.00.
